Cousins speaks candidly to ESPN about recent police involved shootings.

“He told me the truth, which I respect. The truth is there are good and bad. We know that. That’s the case in a lot of situations. It’s not just with [policemen]. It’s throughout the world.” – Cousins.

DeMarcus Cousins took the opportunity to stand with Carmelo Anthony and Kyrie Irving amongst other Team USA teammates during an open town hall style meeting last week to address police involved shootings this summer.

He sat down with ESPN to discuss the recent situations in hopes of his voice providing some force in the fight for peace.
