Grudge. Fox and Monk. Beat me at my house and it hurts. I’ll beat you and you won’t play a college basketball game again. We aren’t going home tonight.
I don’t want to go home either.
And after back to back possessions ending at 7:33, our seniors emphatically pronounced, ‘Neither do we!’
Dominique Hawkins and Derek Willis. The Kentucky Boys. The ones that feel like they have the most to lose. The seniors. They don’t want to go home – at least not yet.
6:32. Derek takes a charge. It’s the little things that say, ‘I don’t want to go home.’ It’s not the petulant cry of a spoiled demon or bear. It’s the passionate cry of proud tradition. It’s the sound of men who have a purpose and a plan to get what they want.
