NCAA Announces Tournament Sites from 2019-2022

The NCAA has announced sites for the NCAA Tournaments from 2019-2022. Among those listed on the list are Louisville and Lexington.

In 2019, one of the Regional sites for the tournament is Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky Yum! Center. Along with Louisville, Washington, DC, Kansas City and Anaheim round out the remaining Regional sites. The Final Four will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Louisville hosted the South Regional in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

In 2021, Lexington, Kentucky will be a host for the First and Second round of the tournament. The Regionals that year will be held in Brooklyn, Minneapolis, Denver and Memphis. Indianapolis will host the Final Four. The last time Lexington hosted a game in the NCAA Tournament was in 2013.

Kentucky would be ineligible to play in the games hosted in Lexington at Rupp Arena in 2021, however, they would be able to play in the Louisville Regional in 2019 if the committee saw fit.
