Kevin Durant has had an unforgettable career. He’s won multiple scoring titles, All Star MVP, NBA MVP, Rookie of the Year and will be in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame when his career is over.
His performances in the NBA Finals have been legendary as well.

He would finish game one with 38 points, eight assists, eight rebounds and zero turnovers. Truly a performance he’ll never forget.
However, it’s the things that slip KD’s mind that are so comical. As he was in the process of hanging 38 on the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers, he had a couple of interactions with music megastar Rihanna.
Anybody who’s into music even a little bit would definitely remember an interaction they had with Rihanna (positive, negative or otherwise).
So when Durant was asked about staring Rihanna, an unabashed Cavs fan who had been heckling, down he would definitely have to remember something like that, right? Right?
C’mon KD, c’mon now. He knows good and well he was staring down RiRi after knocking down that jumper. It’s hilarious that he doesn’t recall the encounter when talking with the media after the game.
This isn’t the first time KD has played the “I don’t remember” card. In arguably his biggest regular season game as a member of the Golden State Warriors he didn’t recall a brief, animated dialogue with Russell Westbrook in his first game back in Oklahoma City as an opposing player.
There’s no way Kevin could forget this, right?
He didn’t remember the trash talk because he was into the game! Lisa Salters even seemed a tad caught off guard with his answer and kind of re-asked him the question. You are hilarious KD and I’m not mad at you, nor will I ever be.
For game two, I hope Cleveland natives Steve Harvey, Drew Carey and Aresenio Hall are all court side so KD can give us all some more comedic “forgettable” in game interactions.
