Kevin Durant joined the Golden State Warriors on July 4 and rekindled the debate about the decisions franchise players make, you knew at some point Draymond Green would have to weigh in.

There is definitely a generational divide forming when it comes to opinions of players and if they should stay and fight to lead their team to a title or join forces on other contending teams full of superstars.

Kevin Durant has caught some heat for making the move to the Bay but LeBron James’ decision to join the Miami Heat after seven years in Cleveland desensitized a lot of people to the idea of big time players joining up and forming big time teams.

James’ decision to join the Heat has definitely reduced the amount of heat that Durant has had to face but KD is still dealing with his share.

Paul Pierce has made it known that he is in favor of guys staying put and sticking it out.

The Truth also tweeted “If u can’t beat um join um.” after Durant joined the Warriors and also had an idea of where Russell Westbrook should go suggesting that he should join the Cavs.

Draymond Green has never been bashful about sharing his opinion. Add in the fact that Pierce is throwing shade at his new teammate and you know he’s going to let his thoughts be known. Add in the fact that Pierce is a member of the Los Angeles Clippers and this makes things real nice and juicy. The Warriors and Clippers can’t stand one another.

Add in the fact that the Warriors put a 120-75 keep our name out your mouth PRESEASON beating on the Clippers on October 4 and you have all of the key ingredients for the animosity between these teams to go through the roof.

They meet four times this season: December 7, January 28, February 2 and February 23. They will definitely be must watch match ups.
