Though there were some games played in Orlando on Tuesday, Bam Adebayo, Dakari Johnson, and Derek Willis all had the night off. That changed today when Orlando and Utah featured games with 3 former Cats seeing action.
DAL vs OKC
OKC may have fallen to DAL but ex-Cat Dakari Johnson showed up to play. Dakari made the short jumper his go-to this game, proving almost un-guardable. He helped on the other side of the ball with a few crucial blocks and rebounds. The Thunder came up a bit short, but Dakari shined, going 8/11 from the field, with another 18 point showing, and a few rebounds just for good measure. His 2 blocks and 1 assist helped balance out his 4 turnovers.

DET vs CHA
Derek Willis was quiet offensively in today’s victory over Charlotte but did all the things that mattered from a big man. With only 11 minutes of floor time, he managed 5 rebounds and 1 steal. Foul trouble kept him from major contributions, however, he made the most of his playing time.

PHI vs UT
Aaron Harrison and Isaiah Briscoe did not play – coach’s decision
It was an important night for Alex Poythress as he played more minutes (31) than any other member of the Sixers’ team. This could be a telling clue that the Sixers are serious about signing Poy. Alex was productive, flirting with a double-double (17 points, 8 rebounds) as Utah edged Philadephia 100-94. Poythress added 2 steals and 1 assist, rounding out a very solid game.
Both Orlando and Utah will wrap up their respective leagues’ play tomorrow. Depending on the coaches’ plans, we could potentially see 6 ex-Wildcats in action tomorrow (Adebayo, Johnson, Willis, Poythress, Briscoe, Harrison).
