Since arriving in Lexington we have seen Mark Stoops improve recruiting across the board. This fact is has become very evident along the offensive line. Take Drake Jackson, for example. In years past he may have been forced into action as a true freshman where he would have had to learn on the fly as best he could.
That’s not the case anymore as John Schlarman has a very capable stable of O-lineman. Today the stable just got deeper with the addition of offensive tackle E.J. Price.
Looks like Price and Kentucky had a good visit indeed as he later tweeted that he had committed to UK.
Price is transferring to Kentucky from USC. Reports are that personal and family reasons and homesickness played a role in him wanting to be closer to his home state of Georgia. We definitely hope he’s able to find some resolution. There were also some erroneous reports about some confrontations that Price had at USC that were dispelled by Trojans head coach Clay Helton.
Landon Young, Darian Kinnard, E.J. Price…..John Schlarman must feel like a little kid on Christmas morning.

It’s good to see Kentucky’s O-line continue to remain solid for both the short and long-term.
