Hamidou Diallo’s Work Did Not Go Unnoticed

Hamidou Diallo is in a nice groove and just nabbed the SEC Freshman of the Week to prove it. Photo: Andrew Bishop, CameronMillsRadio.com

Remember when the Kentucky Wildcats were playing games virtually every other day? Now we have reached the one game a week Camp Cal portion of the schedule.

Hamidou Diallo simply went out and made the most of the limited opportunities against other competition.

The SEC noticed as well.

Diallo’s string of consistent play at both ends continued against Virginia Tech as he tallied 20 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Kentucky went toe to toe with the Hokies from deep and out them 11-10 from the three-point line. Hami was responsible for more than a third of them as he nailed four by himself including the trey that gave Kentucky their largest lead of the game.

Just wait until he connects on one of his end the world dunk attempts.

His next chance to keep it rolling with come down in the Big Easy when the Cats face UCLA down in ‘Nawlins.
