Live sports are back in the air again. We got one of the greatest golf experiences in a long time on Sunday and now rumors are already gearing up for a NHL and NBA playoff start here in the next month. First off, it’s about time. I have been in my house far too long to have nothing else to watch other than another Cake Boss episode that aired 6 years ago. It is a breath of fresh air when these type of news stories are breaking. I know it gets me excited and what I am seeing on Twitter, everyone else is as well.
Now, with the NBA having discussions of finishing last season is happening, that is not stopping the constant NBA Mock Draft talk which is neverending. So, what is everyone saying around the country about the Cats in the NBA draft.
It seems like every year, the Cats always have multiple guys getting picked in the first round. I mean, under Cal, Kentucky has broken multiple records on draft night. However, this year does not seem like past years.

Across many platforms such as ESPN, Fox Sports, Bleacher Report all say that freshman guard, Tyrese Maxey is the only Cat to get picked not just around the lottery but the first round overall.
For Tyrese Maxey here is what the experts are saying about our potential only pick in the first round of the NBA draft this year…
Kyle Boone: 15th Pick, Minnesota Timberwolves
Zack Buckley: 16th Pick, Minnesota Timberwolves (Via Brooklyn)
Jason McIntyre: 23rd Pick, Miami Heat
Ranks Maxey as the 9th best player in the NBA Draft
Power Rankings: Number 14
Also, for ESPN here is what Jonathan Givony had to say about what can Tyrese Maxey be in the NBA.
As Maxey is the only Cat that is seeing projections in the NBA draft at this time, Immanuel Quickley, Nick Ricards, Ashton Hagans and Kahlil Whitney are ranked by ESPN.
The NBA draft is still a go as of right now, accroding to the Offical NBA website. The draft is still scheduled for July 25th which is getting closer by the day. Keep in mind, at the beginning of the month, the NBA announced the postponement of the Lottery and Draft combine.
