Cade Cunningham, the top basketball recruit in the 2020 class, has announced he will stay at Oklahoma State for the 2020-21 season. This decision comes after the NCAA announced not long ago that the Cowboys will be banned from the NCAA Tournament for recruiting violations.
Cunningham was thought to be considering leaving the program because of the ban, but will stay and compete for the Cowboys. Here is Cunningham’s tweet announcing he is staying in Stillwater, OK:

The top-ranked recruit in the 2020 class was considering Kentucky in the initial recruiting process, but picked Oklahoma State in allegiance with a family member who coaches for the Cowboys. After the postseason ban was given to Oklahoma State, Cunningham was predicted to be considering maybe going to the G-League or play overseas. Even Kentucky fans expressed hope that he may come to Lexington, but the star-studded guard will be staying in Stillwater.
