Well, that was quick.
Just one day after Makur Maker set his decision date for his college destination to be next week, the five-star center announced this morning he is committing to Howard.
Here is his tweet announcing his decision:
I was the 1st to announce my visit to Howard & other started to dream “what if”. I need to make the HBCU movement real so that others will follow. I hope I inspire guys like Mikey Williams to join me on this journey. I am committing to Howard U & coach Kenny Blakeney #MakerMob

He also thanked Kentucky as well as UCLA and Memphis for their interest in him as a player in a following tweet. With this decision, the Cats are for sure to be needing Wake Forest transfer Olivier Sarr to be deemed eligible by the NCAA to play next season.
