UK Head Coach John Calipari is continuing to work hard on the recruiting trial.
In a zoom conference call (something we all have become familiar with), the UK coaching staff offered 2022 five-star guard Skyy Clark a scholarship to play for the Cats in Lexington. Clark is the first guard in the 2022 class to receive a scholarship offer from Kentucky, and joins Brandon Huntley-Hatfield as the lone prospects in the 2022 class to receive an offer from UK.
Here is Clark’s tweet announcing that he has received an offer from the Kentucky coaching staff:
mannn what a week it’s been. blessings on blessings. huge honor to receive an offer from Kentucky. thank you to Coach Calipari, Coach Justus, Coach Payne, and Coach Barbee for believing in me. i am honored. all glory to God ❤️ pic.twitter.com/3RvLf1bKq9

The 6-foot-2 five-star guard out of Brentwood Academy (TN) is considered a consensus top-20 recruit in the 2022 class, and also thought as one of the best ball-handlers in the group. Many recruiting services have Clark as a Kentucky lean.
Watch some highlight footage of the potential future UK guard:
Clark would be an excellent get for Kentucky in the 2022 class, and the early offer proves that the UK coaching staff feels he can easily fit the scheme in which the Cats play with.
