The UK basketball non-conference schedule is almost complete.
Kentucky announced this morning through Twitter that they are adding UAB and Marshall as opponents on the non-conference home game schedule. The Cats will host UAB on Dec. 6 and Marshall on Dec. 29.
Here is the tweet from UK announcing the two new opponents for this coming season:
Our nonconference schedule is nearly complete. We've added @UAB_MBB (Dec. 6) and @HerdMBB (Dec. 29) to the 2020-21 slate.
Both games will be in @Rupp_Arena.

Despite not having a consistently great program, UAB is tied with Kentucky in the all-time series between the two (3-3). In fact, until last season when the Cats defeated UAB 69-58, the Blazers led the all-time series, so the Cats have a chance to take a lead in a surprisingly back-and-forth string of matchups between the two. The series against Marshall is a different story however, as UK is 12-0 all-time against the Herd.
Now that Marshall and UAB have been added to the schedule, so far eight non-conference games will be at home, three at neutral site, and one on the road (against Louisville). Click the link referencing UK’s schedule in the tweet above to see the games in order.
