Former Cat and current Oklahoma City guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander announced this morning that he has signed a multi-year footwear and apparel endorsement deal with Converse.
Converse is not the normal shoe for basketball players nowadays, but once was the main brand for footwear in the NBA back in the Magic Johnson and Larry Bird era. Gilgeous-Alexander joins Warriors forward Draymond Green and Suns guard Kelly Oubre Jr. as the NBA players currently endorsing Converse.
Here is SGA’s post announcing his new endorsement deal:
Gilgeous-Alexander said in a previous post that he would be wearing the shoes of the brand he is now endorsing (Converse) in Orlando for the NBA restart. The former first-round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft will be more than likely be playing in the playoffs with the Thunder, as they currently sit at 5th place in the Western Conference with a record of 40-24.
