Terry “Touchdown” Wilson has been named to the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Watch List honoring the top senior quarterback in the nation.
As every UK football follower can recall, Wilson had his 2019 season cut short after suffering a nasty knee injury against Eastern Michigan in the second game of the year. Before the injury, he completed 63.5% of his passes for 360 yards and two touchdowns, along with 44 rushing yards and a running TD.
Overall in his two years so far at Kentucky, he has a 12-3 record as the starting QB, proving his worth as the top signal-caller. Wilson is 213/320 passing for 2,249 yards and 13 touchdowns along with 591 rushing yards and five scores in his 15-game career thus far.
“Terry Touchdown” is now fully recovered and saying he is coming back with vengeance this season. With the full confidence of the UK coaching staff and his pride, he could be due a great season.
