Kentucky Head Coach Mark Stoops revealed on Wednesday that senior quarterback Terry Wilson was back on the practice field this afternoon. Wilson was sidelined due to a hand injury suffered in their loss to Missouri.

What does this mean for the future of the offense? Stoops was unsure on whether Auburn transfer Joey Gatewood would keep the reigns to the offense or give the senior quarterback his starting job back. Regardless, the UK coach said all three quarterbacks including freshman Beau Allen are getting reps this week.

Stoops also said that this bye week has helped a lot of players recover from various injuries suffered from the grueling SEC schedule. That included defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna who could return soon after spending time out due to a knee sprain suffered in the Tennessee game.

“He is getting better,” Stoops said. “I know he’s anxious to get back.”
