As a right-handed pitcher, Jordan was an Under Armour All-American in 2016 and was considered the No. 97 baseball prospect in the class of 2017. After redshirting in his freshman year at UK, Jordan began playing in 2019 which he appeared in 10 games and pitched 8.2 innings.
In his one season as a Kentucky basketball player (2019-20), Jordan appeared in two games, taking one shot against Eastern Kentucky. Over this past summer, Jordan decided to go back to pursuing only baseball in hopes of furthering his career to the major leagues. He played both basketball and baseball at West Carter High School in Olive Hill, KY, in which he became the school’s all-time leading rebounder and shot blocker. His performance earned him the Eastern Kentucky Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
Prayers to his family.
