Kentucky will once again be matched up with Kansas in the SEC/Big 12 challenge this coming season. The SEC announced each of the games for the annual battle, in which UK will travel to Lawrence, Kansas on Jan. 29 for a chance at a potentially huge road victory.
Here is the list of games released Wednesday which will all be broadcasted on ESPN networks:
Kentucky was not able to participate in the 2021 SEC/Big 12 challenge as they had positive Covid-19 tests leading up to the matchup against Texas. The SEC wound up winning the challenge 5-4, but will surely be helped this season with another appearance of the Big Blue.
The Cats actually have a 6-4 record in Lawrence against the Jayhawks, but have lost the last three. Overall, UK has a 23-10 record versus KU, but has lost four of the last five matchups. Not to mention, Kansas is chipping away at Kentucky’s lead as the all-time winningest program after a lackluster 2020-21 season for the Cats.
